In this edition participants will explore how to achieve our
common global objectives (Sustainable Development Goals and climate
change goals) from a local perspective and through social innovation.
The food we eat, how we get around, how money circulates, the way we work – all of these and more are part of the economic system. We all have a role to play in transforming the economy so that it delivers shared wellbeing on a healthy planet.
The first weekend in May (days 3, 4 and 5) , the XIV edition of IDEARIA will take place in Las Naves, a pioneer space of social innovation in the city of Valencia. IDEARIA is a meeting of social and solidarity economy, with a long trajectory of almost thirty years, oriented to collective learning, the generation of synergies and the intercooperation between projects and people. This meeting, of biannual character, is a meeting point to strengthen ties, discover new perspectives and facilitate coordination dynamics, and synergies between different agents of the Social and Solidarity Economy, of Fair Trade, Agroecology, Renewable Energies and Ethical Finance.
This year the organizing committee, formed by IDEAS, REAS RdR and REAS-PV, has decided to focus the event on environmental sustainability, the third principle of the social and solidarity economy charter.
From 10 to 12 May will take place the training on How to Create an Integral Cooperative, coordinated by Jorge Gonçalves, one of the founders of Cooperativa Integral Minga and currently chairman of the board.
