The Coordination Committee is composed of 7 to 15 members elected by the General Assembly, with one main delegate and a secondary one. The mandate is for 3 years – every year the General Assembly re-elects one third of its components. The members today (after the GA in Athens – Greece, June 2017) are:
Eric LAVILLUNIERE, general coordinator
Eric represents INEES in RIPESS Europe. He holds a Master “Social Economy and Local Development” from the University of Paris XIII (1986). He began his militant commitment in the early 90s within the Network for Alternative and Solidarity Economy (REAS in France, then at MB2). He animated a Pole in solidarity economy in Auvergne and accompanied the development of several projects in organic agriculture, fair trade, culture, wood energy sector. He worked at the CECOP (European Confederation of Cooperatives of Production) in Brussels from 2001 mainly on the themes of corporate social responsibility, social enterprise and the relation with social movements including the European Social Forums. He joined INEES in Luxembourg in early 2006 to promote the solidarity economy as the third economic pillar between private sector and public economics. After organizing the 4th intercontinental congress on “Globalization of Solidarity” in Schifflange in 2009, he was one of the founders of RIPESS Europe in 2011. In 2010 INEES also organized the 10th meeting of the Interuniversity network RIUESS, with the University of Luxembourg, Protagonist of an European dynamic within RIPESS Europe, Eric Lavillunière promoted popular education, inspired to the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire. He is also very engaged in the Transition Minett ‘, which is involved in the movement of Transition Towns.
Jason NARDI, general delegate
Jason represents Solidarius Italia in RIPESS Europe and is part of the RIPESS Intercontinental board of directors. An advocate for social justice, ethical finance and communication rights, he is an active member of the International Council of the World Social Forum, has been organiser for Terra Futura (Italian yearly event on SSE with more than 50’000 participants) and has co-created Zoes.org – the first Italian social network for SSE. With a background on Communication and media (Princeton University, USA and a Master’s degree at the University of Florence), he has been director of the italian center of Oneworld.net – Unimondo (www.unimondo.org). Recently he’s been working on an app to map European SSE initiatives (Go-fair.eu) and on a game on Ethical Banking. Jason is currently on the board of the Italian Ngo COSPE (cospe.org) and of an organic-fair catering cooperative (zenzerocooperativa.it), as well as coordinator of the Social Watch Italian coalition. In his hometown, Florence (Italy), he’s promoting the CSA (GAS) network and Solidarity Economy District. He’s also a trainer on Solidarity Economy topics and co-founded Solidarius in Italy (solidarius.it), a research-consulting organisation to help develop solidarity economy networks, part of a Brasilian based international network (Solidarius.net).
Josette COMBES, Communications coordinator
Josette represents the French network MES in RIPESS Europe. She holds a Master Degree in Sociolinguistics (Paris VII, 1983) and she was responsible for a national development program in social housing tailored to the creation of spaces for early childhood with parental involvement (creation or restructuring of more than 45 places in the hexagon). From 1990 to 1998 she contributed as an expert in the work of the Centre for Research on the Education of the OECD (“Programs for the coordination of services for children at risk”).
Based in the Midi-Pyrénées region since 1994, she has worked as a consultant in several organizations of the region, speaking on issues of cultural exchange, project methodology and the development of social economy and led action research / ratings for several local authorities. From 2000 to 2012, as Senior Lecturer associated with the University of Toulouse le Mirail, she taught project methodology in social economy and development economics focused on endogenous experiences brought by the initiative of local communities. Currently she is President of the Institute of Research and Development NOVETAT ‘(Midi-Pyrénées), board member of MES (Movement for Solidarity Economy, France) and member of the Scientific Council of the RIUESS – Inter-University Network of SSE.
Bruno LASNIER, Treasurer
Born in 1960 in Paris, Bruno Lasnier worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without borders) between 1994 and 2002, in charge of a program of risk reduction drugs users within the Mission of France, then the health rehabilitation program manager of the House Arrest and Correction of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire. In January 2003, he became Director of the Provencal Agency for Alternative and solidarity economy (APEAS). In 2004 he became member of the Board of Directors of the MES – national movement of solidarity economy, the where he held the position of President since 2008. Today, Bruno is national coordinator of MES.
Kenneth represents APES in RIPESS Europe. He graduated in a Master 2 “cultural and social environment Project” at the University Paris X – Nanterre and a Master “Public Law” at the University of Lille II, Kenneth Quiguer is specialized in the field of cultural development , European cooperation and organization of events (more than 250 organized). He has extensive experience of project support both associative and public, and has worked for 3 years at the development of projects of the cooperative ExtraCité and of the cluster initiativesETcité (first cluster dedicated to sustainable local development, winner of the European call for projects “Poles in territorial Economic Cooperation 2013”). It therefore supports a daily model of local development based on a process of cooperation between stakeholders in the territories.
Judith HITCHMAN, represents Urgenci in RIPESS EU and is part of the RIPESS Intercontinental board of directors.
Judith is the president of the international CSA network Urgenci. She takes positions on various issues that are important for CSA producers and consumers all over the world. Her report about the way CSA is increasingly identified and supported by some of the international institutions, but also increasingly targeted by corporate lobbies, is a key element for demonstrating the necessity of CSA networks. She also focuses on building bridges between the Solidarity economy and the Food Sovereignty movements. Judith is also a member of the observer team for RIPESS in the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force for Social and Solidarity Economy.
Berenice DONDEYNE represents ADEPES in RIPESS Europe.
She is currently Director of NOVETAT, Institute of Development Research in Social and Solidarity Economy in Midi-Pyrénées (founded by social and solidarity enterprises and academics and consultants in the areas of Local Development, Social and Solidarity Economy and planning). Since 2011 Berenice is the president of ADEPES – Agency for Development and Promotion of Solidarity Economy in Midi-Pyrénées (4 employees, a network of 760 actors and social and solidarity enterprises). Professional and activist, she has experience in implementing local development policies and in advancing solidarity economy, especially within organizations registered in the field of vocational training and social inclusion.
Antonia BANOVIC, represents the Good Economy Platform – Croatia, in RIPESS Europe.
An international relations specialist and strategist focusing on social and environmental impact of collaborative economy and potential of different social movements, sharing communities and networks in fostering positive social change.
Lioba KUCHARCZAK represents the Forum Solidarische Oekonomie in RIPESS Europe.
She has studied Agronomy and has professional experience as an engineer for environmental protection concepts. She has been a coordinator of the European Solidarity Economy Congress SOLIKON 2015 in Berlin (September 2015).
Luca ASPERIUS, web projects manager, founding partner along with Daniel Tarozzi of Ludica S.n.c. and the media portal Italiachecambia.org. Luca lives between Italy and Berlin. His skills range from design to web-oriented programming and beyond, from graphics to video. Luca coordinates the daily work of the development team and is involved in Berlin in Wandel and in the German Forum Solidarische Oekonomie.
Patricia COLER represents UFISC (Union Fédérale d’Intervention des Structures Culturelles) in RIPESS Europe
Patricia is the General Delegate of UFISC and President of the MES – Mouvement de l’Economie Solidaire, France.
Laura AUFRERE is elected as expert in the Coordination Committee. Coordinator for the confederation of performing/visual arts employers organisations, representing not-for-profit, micro and small enterprises involved in solidarity economy. She studied political sciences and specialized as a project manager in the cultural sector. She is now coordinating the development of the collective work on cooperation, governance and social protection through micro studies and public statements (employment, social models of solidarity, economic models, etc).
