How do local and regional authorities, at the international level, act in support of SSE development? How do French local authorities integrate the economic dimension and SSE into their decentralised cooperation policies? How can the role of SSE actors in decentralised cooperation be strengthened?
This year’s General Assembly of RIPESS Europe is the 8th of our network and will take place from the 4th to the 6th of July 2019 in Lyon (France). We are pleased and excited to announce that it is being organised in collaboration with the Deputy mayorof Lyon and the international event Dialogues en Humanité.
The university extension course 'Experiences of social transformation from the Social and Solidarity Economy', which will be held from 15 to 18 July from 16.30 to 20.30 at the Collegiate Church of San Isidoro, will take this summer to Leon people and projects referents in this field at state level.
The course will offer the opportunity to meet experts such as Enrique del Río, from the cooperative Proempleo, researcher and promoter of the Social and Solidarity Economy for 3 decades, or Elena Novillo linked to Economistas Sin Fronteras, the Mercado Social de Madrid and the Red de Economía Alternativa y Solidaria (Reas), and several others...
The international conference “Social Solidarity Economy & the Commons”, will take place from the 6th to the 8th of November 2019 at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) in Lisbon, Portugal. The general theme of this year’s edition is “Contributions to the Deepening of Democracy”. Please submit proposals by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
